D. Michael Carter - President/CEO

Mike is a seasoned professional with 18 years experience as the President/CEO of a Boutique Recruiting Practice specializing in the acquisition and placement of Senior Level Management within the Packaging and Banking Industry. Before starting his practice he spent 19 years with a Fortune 100 and 300 Packaging Company managing Sales and Marketing and Operations Management at the Corporate, Divisional and Regional levels. He has a unique understanding and in-depth knowledge of business practices plus a network of Industry contacts that are second to none. He personally targets a select group of clientele within the Packaging and Banking Industry and has staffed complete organizations from C-level down to Divisional and the Operations level.

He earned a BS in Marketing and Finance from the University of Toledo and is married with two grown children. A few of his steadfast business philosophies include: “never schedule a meeting between clients unless you’re willing to purchase their company and hire them to come work for you”. “I’m in business to enhance their career, not destroy it”. “I’d rather ask their permission than beg them for forgiveness”. “Never let procedures become so important that a clients purpose is lost to bureaucratic stonewalling”. “There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can circumvent or hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul”.

People who get my attention are those who have a vision about where they want to be in the next 3/5 years. My clients always seek the “top performers” within the Packaging Industry. They are the shakers and rollers in Plastics, Metal and Molded products in the Agriculture, Beverage, Closures, Cans Tins & Tubes, Food, Medical & Pharmaceutical, Personal Care & Cosmetics Industries. Secondary practice targets the Banking and Finance Industries. Functional areas of recruitment include: C-Level, Presidents, VP’s and AVP’s.

Jeff's career highlights include 25 years Business Ownership as a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor for numerous Industrial and Commercial Construction Projects.  In 2005 he decided to switch careers and become a Professional Recruiter to Companies seeking skilled talent to fill key Engineering and Sales positions for Industrial and Commercial Plant additions, Upgrades and new Construction projects. Because of his extensive knowledge and experience as a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor he’s considered to be the “go to guy” on all Engineering and Sales positions for this Industry Segment. Whether working with upper level Executives down to Mid-level Operations Jeff has the career experience that combines old world business professionalism with fast paced emerging technologies giving him a cutting edge advantage in professional Search and Recruitment. Jeff's ability to make timely accurate decisions with attention to detail and a must win attitude makes him a natural in Professional Recruiting.
